Secretary  The Secretary of VITW-CDC is Rashonda Moore. Rashonda is a member of Promise Land Christian Community Church. Rashonda attended Howard University where she studied Architecture and Purdue University, earning an Associates of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelors of Science in Construction Management.  She works in her field of study as a Project Manager and is co-owner of CRM Indy.
The CEO Pastor Richard E. Willoughby is the founder of Voice In The Wilderness Community Development Corporation (VITW-CDC) and Senior Pastor of Promise Land Christian Community Church. A leader in the Indianapolis community, Pastor Willoughby works tirelessly to help those in need through services and programs that he has developed as Pastor of Promise Land Christian Community Church and as the CEO of Voice in the Wilderness Ministries.
Chief Operating Officer Sharon Jones has been a member of Promise Land Christian Community Church since her early childhood. Intergal in the development of Voice In The Wilderness Community Development Corporation, Sharon was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer at its inception and has been working with the CEO developing the programs and services that have been assisting the residents of Indianapolis, Indiana since 1997, before the ministry was incorporated in 2001.

ReDiscoverYou Initiative Assisting Ex-Offenders and Other Job Seekers.

With the release of many ex-offenders back into the community, VITW-CDC has established partnerships with other organizations to develop framework to provide a unilateral plan that can provide assistance for all participants without duplicating services.  Since VITWM began its Job Readiness Program, titles "The ReDiscoverYou Initiative" back in May 2009, they have seen an increase in each class.  Many of the candidates have referred friends and family members to the program. Full Story | video Video

Mountain Movers' Six-Week Training Program A Success.

Our service was used to assist low-income families make that transition from the home environment into a career oriented environment.  Our main emphasis was on older teens and young adults, not excluding older adults, and to give low income families the opportunity to make successful choices.  Our goal was to provide our clients with the hope, faith, and the life skills needed to become "over-comers", regardless of what type of environment they may have come out of.   Child care was provided for individuals participating in our program.  As an incentive to complete the 6 WEEKS training sessions, we awarded one client between $150.00—$3200.00 for the most improved and $50.00 was awarded to those with perfect attendance.   Only 20 slots were available. Full Story | video Video

Indiana AFL-CIO Ally of the Week

Richard Willoughby is the Senior Pastor at Promise Land Christian Community Church and also the President of Concerned Clergy in Indianapolis.  Pastor Willoughby is an outspoken advocate for the Employee Free Choice Act and recently traveled to Washington, D.C. to voice his support to Senator Evan Bayh. Full Story | video Video
